CHARITIES

Step Up Parents provides financial assistance to kinship caregivers in New Hampshire and Southern Maine who are raising the children of parents with substance use disorder. Even heroes need a hand.  Kinship caregivers are relatives or friends who step up to care for, nurture and protect children who find themselves without a responsible parent or safe place to live. For these caregivers, the most immediate need is often financial. Step Up Parents responds by striving to meet every family’s individual needs, whether it is aid with the cost of daycare, clothing, baby supplies, music lessons, legal fees or a special camp for a struggling child.   Stepupparents, org

NEXT FUNDRAISER

Next Potluck

Potlucks are gatherings where members and guests gather to enjoy each other's food and company!  We also donate $15 each to the charity fund.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2025 from 1-3 pm Old Fashioned Cook-out

If it seems like summer is flying by, IT IS! Our next Pot Luck will celebrate the waning days of summer on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7.
Let’s join Susan Martin at her home in Kennebunk for an old time barbecue! RAIN or SHINE, we will gather to share all of our favorite “cook out foods” while sharing all of our end of summer stories.
Please consider bringing foods like potato or macaroni salad, cold veggie salads with vinaigrettes, homemade pickles, hot dogs or mini hamburgers and buns for the grill and of course, your favorite desserts!
To sign up, please contact Cindy Sayers cindysayersme@gmail.com or 703-401-2185.
